FEICON 2023 establishes new records in historic edition


Events

More than 100,000 people visited the pavilion during the four days of the fair and the public's qualification reached 75%; lead generation reaches new heights

São Paulo, April de 2023 – Held last week (from April 11th to the 14th), in São Paulo, FEICON, the largest event for the construction and architecture sectors in Latin America, amassed a new series of records (in 2022 the fair had already stood out for this). One of the biggest editions of all times, the event received 102,500 visitors, 75% of them highly qualified and with decision-making power over the purchasing process, which consolidated FEICON as an indispensable platform to boost business, relationships and partnerships in the industry.

"We received qualified visitors in 4 days of the event and, on Thursday, we had the most visited day in the history of FEICON. In addition, the event offered more than 200 hours of content and boosted business for exhibitors, breaking a record of lead generation. FEICON has definitely established itself as one of the most relevant events in the world for the construction industry”, says Mayra Nardy, Portfolio Director at RX Brasil, which promotes and organizes FEICON.

The program had more than 200 hours of content and allowed the event to present a comprehensive overview of trends, innovations, technologies and macroeconomic contexts of the entire construction chain.

Events

Taking place for the first time simultaneously with FEICON, the 96th edition of ENIC – National Meeting of the Construction Industry, brought together important names such as Tarcísio de Freitas, Governor of São Paulo; Ricardo Nunes, Mayor of São Paulo; Jader Filho, Minister of Cities; and Inês Magalhães, Vice-President of Housing at Caixa, to discuss challenges and proposals for housing projects, including Minha Casa, Minha Vida.

The Retail Content Hub, a feature curated by Grau 10 Editora and Sincomavi, as well as the Construction Content Hub, curated by Inovatech Engenharia and sponsored by Parceiro da Construção, presented topics such as new technology and solutions to reduce environmental impact and to improve production and sales efficiency.

The VMC 2023 Meeting, held by Anamaco in partnership with WE Business Experience, presented content on market strategies and was the stage for the Construction Women's Forum, which featured ESG guidelines.

The 17th edition of the Sincomavi Symposium (Union of Retail Trade in Construction Material, Machinery, Hardware, Paints, Crockery and Glass in Greater São Paulo), addressed topics such as the challenges of the physical and digital retail practices, the new consumer and how to rethink physical retail so that it takes advantage of the digitalization trend, among other topics.

The Influencers' Lounge, which was one of the novelties this year, allowed visitors to be in direct contact with some of the main influencers in the market. Big names such as Daniel Zanco, Patrícia Pomerantzeff, Professor Iza Valadão, Beth Bridi and Paulo Galina made an appearance.

“The FEICON Influencers' Lounge was an incredible opportunity to be able to talk and interact directly with industry professionals,” says Patricia Pomerantzeff, architect, founder of Doma Arquitetura and the biggest architecture youtuber in Brazil.

Routes

The 2023 edition of the event presented the Technology Route for the first time, guiding visitors through 36 products and solutions focused on increasing efficiency, safety, quality and cost reduction in construction works. This feature was exclusively sponsored by Mútua – Assistance Fund for CREA Professionals.

The Sustainability Route highlighted 19 products that meet ESG criteria in three categories: manufacturing, construction works and applied products. All of them were evaluated by professionals from Fundação Vanzolini, which supports the feature, which is curated by Inovatech Engenharia.

Ceramic House

In its 14th edition at FEICON, Ceramic House brought along new technologies and presented materials that bring agility, cost reduction and efficiency to housing projects. The house, displayed in full size and built in 7 days inside the pavilion, was made in rationalized ceramics masonry, with hydraulics and electrics embedded between the blocks, without the need for breakage, in addition to having high quality materials. In the model, the visitors were able to check out cutting-edge technologies such as Digital Twins, Laser Scanning, Matterport, GeoBim, Metaverse Real Estate Exhibitions, Drones and Augmented and Virtual Realities.

Seal

FEICON was also the stage for the Varejo Innovation Seal by Grau 10 Editora, carried out in partnership with Grau 10 and curated by Anamaco Magazine, which aimed to recognize and promote products that presented technological innovation in both operation and design. For the first time through popular vote, visitors chose 3 solutions that stood out for the retail market, namely:

1st place - ICFLEX - Iforms (ICF Mortars, Paints and Additives)

2nd place - DRYKOFITA VEDATUDO ULTRADRY (by Dryko Industry)

3rd place - TCM (engine room cover by GDA)

The 28th edition of FEICON is already scheduled for 2024. It will take place between April 2nd and 5th, 2024, at São Paulo Expo (SP).
